This weekend (12may01) I was sick with bronchitis and told to take it easy. What could be taking it easy more than doing some stitchery? I've been collecting trinkets and doodads forever -- I had them stuck in drawers, squirrelled away in boxes and jars -- and I decided to do something fun with them. I made a simple handbag from black shantung, lined it with orange silk, and gave it ivory silk brocade handles. And I stuck my doodads all over it.
